This is less in the “tiny hat” variety and more in the “substantial hat” variety, but it is stunning none-the-less
Check out this amazing beaded piece! It definitely demands attention, but it also expresses style, grace and brings the whole bridal look together.
Now talking about drama, check out this amazing gothic flapper-style piece. It features antique jet beads and feathers from the 1800’s - 1820’s. The size and detail make the piece heavy but for the right bride, it would be amazing!
Here is an example of the decorative accent on a headband variety. This one has a lot of glam to it; the contrast of the pink and black makes it very dramatic.
This is a perfect example of the single large flower variety. It’s size alone makes for an elegant and bold statement, but beneath the overwhelming statement of the flower there are some beautiful details that really make this piece; ostrich feather accents and French Chantilly Lace for example.
Peacock and teal are on top of the non-mainstream mountain. This fascinator is for sale in YJPaw’s Shop on Etsy.
Getting back in the saddle here, let’s do a bit of a look into the bridal trend that is the Fascinator. Headpieces have been the rage, especially with such a variety. You can go with the gothic “tiny hat” or a simple large, lovely flower. The next few posts will be featuring different styles of fascinators and the brides who chose them.
Speaking of rockin’, this bride looks like she could’ve carried a feather bouquet. Love the attitude of the whole group!
This feather bouquet is pretty rockin’. While the idea of the bouquet is still holding on strong, a lot of brides are putting their own twist on it. I’ve seen crochet and button flowers, french beaded, christmas ornament balls, etc. But there still seems to be a need to carry a grouping of something in hand when you’re walking around in a wedding dress.
Are you planning on sticking to flowers or going with something unique?
How’s this for over the top romance?
